The miracle of forgiving

This is about an ongoing dispute I have with a company which sold me an Internet product at a seminar for $4,000. I bought the product to save me time in developing some commercial web sites. I bought the product even though I could do everything it did because it was going to save me time. Unfortunately the program was not tested, kept failing and basically caused me more problems and time than it saved. After a month of error after error, I sent them an email which ended with – I have bolded the most important part:
I would like to resolve these issues:
- Your server should be working and I should not keep getting support answers that it is being upgraded.
- I need the Craigslist Optimizer to work on my host or proof that Adam said it would only be supported on his hosting company.
- I need to have access to the statistical program free or again need to have proof that Adam mentioned he was going to charge us for it.
The last two issues should be easy to solve since you have video of the whole seminar and I could be mistaken.
I’m gently asking for these issues to be solved. If they cannot be solved I’m requesting a refund by Jan, 27, 2009.
Within an hour I got a get lost email from the company and I had disput the charge with my credit card company which would not support me. I kept sending information and letters from an independent software company to no avail. I have just about ran out of all options with the card company.
Anyway, last night I was doing more forgiveness. I usually listen to my own forgiveness CDs but last night was listening to a cassette tape by Jonathan Parker (one of my many mentors). In it I forgave the person who sold me the faulty product (as I have done many times before) but in this case I also surrounded the person involved with a wonderful pink light of total unconditional light.
This morning a friend phoned me out of the blue saying he was going to pay me for $5,000 that was borowed by his friend 30 years ago. This was totally out of the blue. I had forgotten about this more than twenty five years ago when I realized that the borower would never pay me back.
My friend told me rightly, "You only lent this money to my friend because he was my friend and thus I take responsibity to pay you back." This was another miracle I have observed thanks to forgiving. I have had clients receieve payments of loans given or money owed them supposed totally lost after forgiving. And this is one of a few times it has happend to me.
More importantly I have observed friendships restored after forgiving. This is the ultimate miracle when friends and families are reunited in love having forgiven.
