Recently I have had all sorts of my websites “out of compliance” for all sorts of reasons. The last one was to be informed by my hosting company that my sites had more than 450,000 files and I had a maximum of 50,000 files allowed.
So I went on an extreme file lessening diet. I had to reprogram Wordpress (the program this blog and all my other blogs run on) and managed to bring the files to the desired quantity (less than 40,000). There was a lot of debugging needed.
Now that I have the theory, I’m going through and changing each blog to work with the fewer files. This blog lost it’s look and I new a certain file was wrong. I kept reediting the file and uploading it to the site, to no avail.
It made no sense. After doing it three times I said to myself, “Craziness is repeating the same actions over and over again, expecting a different result.” So I went for a short walk to clear my head.
When I got back I noticed that I was working on a different site (javadh.com) not this one.
Oh well….
