Knowledge and no action is no knowledge at all

Recently a whole series of things have gone wrong in my life. They are small things in the scheme of things like the ceiling in a condo we own leaking twice in forty five days and even though neither was out fault the offending party’s insurances would not pay, or pay just to mend (not the damage) altogether the condo has been more or less useless for nearly two months.
I have had major hosting company challenges (in fact I had to change my hosting company and lost a huge amount of my work). There have been other things like feeling sick a couple of times and so on but the hosting issue is an ongoing challenge which has taken a lot of my energy.
At the same time my self esteem is down for all sorts of reasons and the above niggling events became even more negative (just because I’m down). Now in terms of self esteem and self help I have a huge amount of knowledge. I coach others and yet this is a case of “physician heal thyself.”
Unfortunately it is not that easy to work on yourself. First of all you are looking at yourself from the inside and don’t have leverage – for example I use hypnosis with my coaching clients but when I use self hypnosis (excellent for stress management) I cannot dynamically give the right suggestions the way I do with my clients.
Recently I took a class on Internet marketing (actually I’m in the middle of it) and to this end I’m starting some new sites. But somehow I go ninety percent of the way there but then stop. I think it is a fear of failure and its mirror image fear of success.
And like all other fears these are false fears and the best way to overcome them is take action. So today at long last I did take action and the first of these new sites about updating your video driver is up.
