A little miracle
Posted Under: spirituality
You may know that I’m currently going through “A Course in Miracles” workbook. I started on November first and am going through the sixteenth day today.
This afternoon I ended up walking in Dana Point harbor through a series of unforeseen events. I was going to the library and was going to go for a walk to celebrate reaching a minor goal. However, I remembered to go to my dentists office to find out the hour of my changed appointment tomorrow.
Since I was next to the post office I decided to drive there to drop off some Netflix DVDs and then I was next to the harbor and I thought I might as well go for a walk there rather than in a park I was going to walk in.
It was a wonderful walk and I was really enjoying the celebration of reaching a small goal.
Then it happened. I had this minor miracle.
There was this gentleman who was balancing rocks on top of each other – unfortunately I did not have my camera with me. I’ll see if any are left tomorrow when I go to my dentist and take photos.
He had made an ephemeral sculpture garden (the wind will make all the finely balanced stone fall – but for a moment he had produced a fantastic beautiful work of art).
I did not wish to disturb him and continued walking. There was a beautiful long necked sea bird (something akin to a sea crane) further on.
Then I returned and the artist was in a place that I could talk to him. I thanked him for his wonderful work and let him know how much I appreciated his work. We talked for five to ten minutes and it ended up that we know each other from the gym. Then it was time top move on. I wished him a wonderful evening and he wished me a balanced evening.
